i have a question, if i follow some and write them a question can another person who isnt following him see his answer(lets say they follow me) or only if they go to my page.?? ?> :) thanks
oh yeah sorry i haven’t gotten to this
Near as I can tell, unless you have some other way of keeping track of someone else’s tumblr (like an rss feed, or if they crosspost to twitter etc), there’s no real way to tell to be notified whether or not a question has been answered. They’d have to either follow the person it was asked to, or just keep an eye on their tumblr until they see it.
Uganda did not get rid of their anti-gay bill. They simply pushed the debate back until Friday. They also decided to take out punishment of death for being gay, but they replaced it with life imprisonment, so we really haven’t achieved as much as everyone wants to believe.
I thought about doing this when I hit 500 followers, but the spambots are throwing off my count anyways so I’m doing it early. Because I’m nearly done with this semester. Because I’m going off to see good friends and I want to celebrate. Because I’ve got some free time on my hands. Because no one is ever going to sell t-shirts with these characters.
I’m giving away one screenprinted t-shirt, made specially for the winner.
I can’t do a custom design for the winner, because my exacto knife and painting skills are still pretty limited. But I’ve got 6 designs to choose from!
Here’s how it works. Like and reblog this post and you’ll get entered into the drawing. I’m going to Massachusetts at the end of the week and coming back in late May. When I get back, I’ll draw the name of the winner and contact you.
You can choose from the six designs below, as well as t-shirt color. Then I’ll ship your shirt off to you!
I might draw two winners, if I have the cash to make two shirts for free. I’m also looking into starting an etsy shop, where I’ll sell t-shirts but probably not comic book shirts. (I’m still looking into copyright stuff there — do all those twilight craft people just get away with it because it’s so small fry, or am I missing something?)
So without further ado, here are the designs you can choose from. (Some of the images are flipped. I think they’re still readable so I haven’t unflipped them.)
Nightwing jumping off a building!
[Green shirt with an image of Nightwing jumping off a tall building. He is wearing his skintight black costume with a ‘V’ of unpainted cloth where his costume is usually bright blue. Below him is a flock of bats, and below that is a city skyscape. The design takes up the left side and bottom of the shirt.]
Tiny Titans Cass!
[A design printed on a piece of paper. It is a simple picture of the Tiny Titans version of Cassandra Cain. She is a chibi, superdeformed figure with a large head and small body. She is dressed head to toe in black and her face is covered by a black mask with large eyes and a mouth stitched on. She is raising her arms as if to scare someone. The image is about 3-4 inches tall.]
Renee Montoya 52 design!
[A design screenprinted onto a piece of paper. It shows an image of Renee Montoya as the Question, wearing a fedora, gloves, and a jacket. She has no facial features, and she is tipping her hat at the viewers. Below her text reads “Answer the question.” The text is backwards because the photographer’s computer flipped the image. The image is about 8 inches tall and 5-6 inches wide.]
Superboy logo (okay, you can get this one online. But still.)
[An image of a black screen printed shirt. In red is the Superboy logo, a stylized ‘S’ within a diamond shape. The ‘S’ is flipped because the photographer’s computer flipped the image. The image is about 9 inches wide and 7 inches tall.]
Cass lurking in an alleyway!
[A screenprinted image on paper. The image is of Cassandra Cain as batgirl, lurking in the mouth of an alleyway. She is visible only in spooky silhouette, her cape curled around her and her pointed ears clearly visible. There is the rough image of brickwork spreading out forward from Cass, giving the image depth and making it look like the viewer is actually looking through an abstract representation of an alley. The image is about 9 inches tall and 6 inches wide.]
Jubilee being awesome!
[A screen printed image on paper. It is a simple image in three colors of Jubilation Lee. She is standing with her hands on her hips and looking unimpressed. She is wearing a black jumpsuit with a yellow collar and zipper, a bright yellow coat, and bright pink sunglasses. Her features are more abstract than realistic. The images is about 8 inches tall and 4 inches wide.]
HAPPY REBLOGGING! I’ll choose a winner on May 26th!
Why does this still have fewer than 300 notes? I’m not going to say that you’re heartless if you don’t reblog this, because I hate that, but please, please take a minute or two to put your name on the petition.
PLEASE PASS THIS ON there hasn’t been nearly enough interest and they need signatures NOW.
You know what you have to do, come on.
CAN ALL OF MY FOLLOWERS JUST REBLOG THIS RIGHT NOW?
