Phylicia Barnes went missing two days ago.
I don’t know all of the details because I don’t personally know her but one of my friends is really upset over it and any kind of help would be really appreciated.
She lives around the Monroe/Charlotte NC area, but she has family in Atlanta, Georgia so she could really be anywhere.
I always reblog these when they come up on my dash. Any decent human would do the same.
Lets hope someone sees this that can help bring her home.

A 16-year-old girl from Monroe
Barnes was last seen wearing a navy blue pea coat with a hood, turquoise thermal shirt, blue jeans, white slippers or boots and a caramel colored purse.
Barnes was visiting her two sisters in Baltimore when she disappeared near Eberle Drive around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Anyone with information about Barnes should call Baltimore police at 443-984-7385.

If I never ever hear another variation on “Batman isn’t a hero, he’s fucking psychotic” it will be TOO FUCKING SOON. Look, I don’t like Batman. I don’t like Bruce Wayne. I dislike him for more reasons than I can count, but you know what’s not one of them? The fact that he’s (almost certainly) got some sort of illness.
People, psychosis does not mean what you apparently think it means. It is a psychiatric term that describes a specific (and frequently terrifying) thing experienced by many people with many different mental disorders. It is not synonymous with “evil.” It is not synonymous with “a hazily defined mental illness that clearly means the person I’m describing with it is intrinsically bad.”
Please, by all means, hate Batman. Make fun of him. But do it because of his politics, his condescension, his mountains of unchecked privilege, his sexism and classism and frequent racism and ableism, his tendency to put children in violent situations, the fact that he dresses up as a giant bat. Don’t do it because you think all of those things are the direct result of a mental illness that you can slap the word “psychotic” on and call it a day. That’s ableist, dehumanizing, othering, and just plain skeevy.
